Chelsea Neumann, MD
Biography
Dr. Chelsea Neumann completed her psychiatry residency at Duke University. She earned her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska. Her passions include medical student and resident education and child forensic psychiatry, specifically the treatment of mental illness in adjudicated youth. As a member of the ADMSEP Clinical Simulation Initiative Task Force, she developed online psychiatric learning modules. She was a presenter at the AACAP Residents as Teachers annual workshop, and she spent time in New Zealand researching juvenile fitness to stand trial. Following fellowship, she became a specialist consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist at the Whirinaki Child, Family, and Youth Mental Health System in Aukland, New Zealand.
