Amy Egolf, MD
Biography
Dr. Amy Egolf received her BA in Classics from Wesleyan University in 2007 and graduated from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai with her MD in 2012. She stayed on at Mount Sinai to complete her residency in adult psychiatry, serving as chief resident in her fourth year. She completed her final year of training at Brown as chief fellow. Aside from her clinical work, Dr. Egolf has focused her time on improving education for medical students and trainees in the field of psychiatry. Her work has included instructing medical students, piloting a program in problem-based learning for adult psychiatry residents, and writing about curriculum development in emergency child psychiatry. Following fellowship, Dr. Egolf became an attending at the Partial Hospital Program for OCD at Bradley Hospital. She also devotes time to outpatient treatment and serves as co-Director of the Clinical Neurosciences: Psychiatry Clerkship at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
