Alissa Frame, MD
Biography
Dr. Alissa Frame grew up in Massachusetts and received her bachelors degree in neuroscience from Middlebury College in Vermont. She worked in a range of roles fostering relationships between people and the scientific and natural worlds and spent several years in translational research before attending medical school. She graduated from Boston University School of Medicine with her medical degree and doctoral degree in pharmacology and completed her adult psychiatry training at Brown University. During medical school, she received the Linda Brodsky Award from the American Medical Women’s Association for an essay about her experience as a parent to three young children during medical training. She has been involved in research and quality improvement projects focused on improving care for children and their families during cases of child maltreatment and understanding the relationship between parent-child boundaries and child temperament. Dr. Frame is excited to continue her work with children and families during her child psychiatry training.
