The CAP fellowship equips fellows with the skills needed to diagnose and treat children and adolescents experiencing the spectrum of mental and developmental difficulties.

Training the Next Generation of Leaders in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Our program offers the unique integration of:

  • an unparalleled clinical training setting inclusive of outpatient, partial hospital, inpatient, and residential levels of care serving patients from infancy through young adulthood and their families
  • a deep commitment to an integrated approach to treating psychological, behavioral, somatic, and social/structural manifestations of and contributors to mental illness,
  • an enormously productive research program, and
  • a culture that strives to cultivate a sense of inclusiveness, belonging, warmth, and collegiality.
